I’d like to interject here and touch on something you may be taking for granted: the Olympics are seriously less fun without the commentary. Try turning down the volume and see if you know how someone ran/flipped/twisted/jumped without being told. It’s very, very tough. Fortunately, we are very, very smart, so [coworker] and I have become synchronized diving judges. Look for us as onair commentators in the 2016 Olympics!

An extremely important excerpt from my Israel recap email written to my coworkers back home. Just in case you were wondering how it is to be 7000 miles away from home during the Olympics, the answer is terrible. I’m currently watching women’s weight-lifting (spoiler alert: Kazakhstan wins the gold!), and I CANNOT BELIEVE I MISSED A HISTORIC WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS OLYMPICS! Fuck.
Otherwise, I’m well. How are y’all? Can’t wait to catch up on all of your posts next weekend when I only lay on my couch, read the internet, and watch Big Brother for 48 straight hours. Bliss.
