This whole quote was great (click through), but this part really got me.
“Taking a bath
Coming over the bridge to Manhattan
Pie.” —

Lovely.

Tory Burch yesterday, HANKY PANKY today! (Invite link, I get money if you buy stuff so go on and buy some underwear!)
Quickest I’ve spent over $100 on underwear… but only because the line at the Hanky Panky sample sale is always 100+ people long. PSA: Their boyshorts are amazing.
You can only eat at FOUR restaurants in your fair city for the rest of your life. Sit-down restaurants only, Chipotle does not count! What do you pick?
I changed my J.Crew online shopping cart from three items to five. Oh, Friday night.
Is anyone out there a career adviser, looking to make extra money on the side (who isn’t)? A friend (really) is looking for someone who is good with words and has a lot of experience with resumes to do a mass overhaul of theirs… and they’re willing to pay!
If you’re interested in the job and genuinely qualified, email me at lizlemonnn at gmail. Thanks!
why isn’t cancer capitalized? I mean, shouldn’t it be, really? Does anyone else always try to capitalize it or am I the only one writing the word cancer, which I’m not really but it’s just something I think about in my spare time? I mean, if something is going to kill almost all of us, shouldn’t we give it the courtesy of capitalization?
If you love Sorkin (and if you don’t, I’m not sure I want to know you), you’ll love this interview.
Long, but worth it. Includes some great bits about the most important show to premiere this week (ahem), as well as Sorkin on the Sorkin-less seasons of The West Wing… which he never watched.
3 - Days wearing eyelet (hellooooooooo, summer!)
2 - Dinners enjoyed at work (sushi with a side of chips and guac, pizza)
1 - Giant bag of Israeli sunflower seeds consumed at work
0 - Trips to the gym (oops)
1 - Friend with gigantic “I’m moving to Denver!” news which made me sad/excited/jealous
4 - Hours left till I can nap
5 - Number of Wire related articles read (this one is the best)
2 - Number of videos of Snoop from The Wire watched on youtube… so far
3 - People imed about The Wire, which I’m sure is confusing for them because it’s not 2008

Oh, hello there. Long time no talk…
Y’all. I don’t want you to think you’re not a priority. It’s not like, “oh, I’m sooooo busyyyy but by ‘busyyyy,’ I mean, ‘I don’t give a quarter-crap about tumblr,’” it’s just.. life. I have so much to talk about, and no time/energy/wherewithall to talk about it. Topics of conversation include:
-The fact that I finally watched The Wire.
-Emotional consequences of me being done with The Wire after eight dedicated weeks of viewing.
-Great links of things people said about The Wire… four years ago.
-A list of deaths in The Wire and my level of sadness at their happening.
-Other things I’ve seen on TV recently (including a pilot of a new reality series starring someone whose name rhymes with -ahem- schmoolia schmalison).
-CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE WIRE? Shiiiiieeeetttttttt.
In other news…
(Menfolk, avert thy gaze.)
Can we talk about IUDs? I know many of you have them and I have a lot of questions, so please reply or message me. Ok, here goes: which kind do you have? Have you found any disadvantages? How painful was the insertion really? Related: how’s your pain tolerance? Do you have migraines? How does that work, compared to the pill?
