During the weepy farewell messages, Keesha's and Angie's had Steven crying. But if those had him regretting leaving the house, Jessie's message probably nipped that in the bud: ''It was great working out with you. I'm glad you know how hard I've worked at what I've done. And you have the potential to take your physique somewhere that you want it. I hope you know that your goals are within reach, just by me trying to lead by example.'' That speech couldn't have been more self-aggrandizing if Jessie had finished it by performing oral sex on himself.  → ew.com

I love you, Josh Wolk.

I also love you, MeredithNYC for the fab links.

So what's interesting to me lately is how many resumes I've seen from young engineers and product managers looking to move from the Bay Area to the City. What could a twenty-something go-getter in the tech field want that wasn't available along 101? In a word, girls. → aripaparo.com

I understand that there are two sides to every story, and I'm sure he would say that I derived great pleasure from being his care-giver, and he would be totally right. Perhaps I felt latent guilt for leaving the church, or perhaps it was a holdover from childhood when I felt like I had to care for my grieving, divorced parents, but I thought that by taking care of this grown man I was somehow justifying my existence in this world. And I will say it again: I ENABLED him to take advantage of me.  → dooce.com

An amazing post.
