You may now call me “Ghostface Lemon.”
How Not to Be Alone, by Jonathan Safran Foer
Nearly every line in this commencement speech adapted to New York Times column is quotable. Go read!
I had read great things from a friend about barre classes. I had never heard of them, but I couldnât argue with her arms, so I took one. Now I teach them.
For my last column at BlissTree, I interviewed Stephanie. Mostly so I wouldn’t have to actually write a column. :)
Interesting question and exciting! It’s nice that you want to give your friend something, though not necessary at all. I think your excitement over her news is celebration enough, cheesy though that sounds. But because you asked, I have a couple of ideas depending on your friend’s style. Some gifts people gave me that I loved were a ring holder/dish thingy (Red Envelope has cute ones) and the Kate Spade Something Blue necklace. Both are great gifts of celebration. If your friend likes monograms, there are many awesome options from Mark & Graham, a fabulous everything personalized line from the Pottery Barn folk. Ever since I saw it (on tumblr, natch), I’ve lusted after this acrylic serving tray, which, is it weird to put your address on a tray?

They also have tons of gorgeous glassware and bar accessories, which can be monogrammed with their initials. And there’s always champagne flutes, which can also be monogrammed.
If your friend hates monograms, or if you’re concerned about assigning names she may or may not take, there’s always these awesome “Cheers” champagne flutes, which say Cheers in six different languages and are on sale today!

Hope that helps and congrats to your friend!
The air conditioning was broken in their office and I was 30 minutes early. The doctor was 30 minutes late.
An hour after sitting in the chair in the exam room, sweating like a stuck pig, the doctor came in. He told me what I knew he was going to say – but hoped he wasn’t – that I had cancer.

Perspective.
Specifically, where should we register and why? (Who is the easiest to deal with and has the best deals? I know Bed Bath and Beyond gives back cash but I don’t feel like we need enough random stuff from there to justify it.) And what should we register for? (I already have a Kitchenaid and we don’t have a ton of room… are copper pots and pans too bratty?)
Sorry this has been all wedding all the time. I promise to return to normal, uh, sometime. Here’s a cute puppy in a hamburger bun to distract you:

Uh, question mark?
Band is thisclose to being booked! (Knock on wood!)
Now to pick songs… I’m thinking for my grand entrance this (and I don’t even watch GoT, I knowww; I just love the song) and then for the recessional this (the song, not Gob talking, though that would be nice). Try and talk me out of it.
